Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS)

By attempting to connect to this system, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS). If you do not agree, disconnect immediately.

GamesNET staff members are the sole authority for the accurate interpretation of the TaCoS. The TaCoS may be interpreted differently from time to time. Comments regarding GamesNET staff should be emailed to feedback

The TaCoS

#1 All systems attempting to connect to this service are automatically scanned for open proxy software. Systems which are determined to have an open proxy will not be permitted to connect to the GamesNET IRC network

#2 Unsolicted commercial chat messages are not permitted. Advertising in a chatroom must be pre-approved by a chanop of said chatroom. Advertisements of pornography and/or illicit material are never permitted.

#3 GamesNET provides services intended to support and promote Internet multiplayer games. Other chatrooms may exist, but they will not be supported. The registration of any chatroom deemed not gaming-related may result in its permanent removal. In addition, chatroom registration abuse may result in the permanent removal of those responsible. Chatrooms which may violate state, federal, and/or international laws are not permitted.

#4 Abuse of GamesNET users or staff may result in cessation of support or permanent removal from the chat network.

#5 Users are permitted 3 clients per IP address. Automated systems may remove all users sharing a single IP address when exceeding 3. If more than 3 are required, approval in advance is necessary to avoid the risk of forced removal.

#6 The GamesNET IRC network is a private network. GamesNET staff reserves the right to terminate your access at any time without notice. If you feel your access has been revoked improperly or by mistake, pease report it by emailing IRC
